As we age there is something in us that screams out, share! Share what has worked for you. Share what you have learned. Share your experience with the less experienced.

I know there are those who want to do it by themselves, I guess I was different in that area. My thinking was, why re-invent the wheel, when you can take off from where others have had success and go from there.

As a young man I have spent a lot of time talking with older men, successful men. I've never been sorry. Listening to them has kept me from making unnecessary mistakes.

Cultures and sub-cultures change but practical lessons and experience in principles should be helpful to others with a similar calling. Principles never get out of date! I'm aware of the flip side of sharing my experience on the Internet. What we pay for we value and what is free and available seems of less value. I trust this won't be the case with you. Poke around in the following pages of information and see if you don't come away with an idea or two. Over half a century in youth ministry and still going, I should have something going for me besides my genes.

By the way, you might want to pick up the book "OUTRAGEOUS OBJECT LESSONS." I wrote that book more than twenty years ago and it's still selling. Great for teachers and youth workers. Kids will love the short lessons.
