At my age technology continues to be a mystery. Colorful websites that can be pulled up from anywhere on earth. Not only text and photos but audio and video. From analog to digital and off we go. Here is some audio.
Digging around I found a few tapes of messages I have given. They were true then and they are just as true now. Here are several messages that many of you have heard me speak. Nostalgia comes in many forms, lend an ear.
| "Dynamic Belief" It's apparent the First Century Believers were radically different from the Believers of today. What makes the difference? Are today's Believers actually Believers in the Biblical sense? Worrisome questions. Take a look at this message. Speaking at the Kauai Christian Fellowship on October 18, 2009. You can check out a video of this message by clicking here. |
"Missionary Myths" On occasion it's hard to separate fact from fiction. When it comes to missionaries and mission fields many of us have unintentionally bought into myths. In this message we shed light on several commonly held missionary myths. |

| "The Lesson of the Arrow" A motivational lesson on missions using An analogy of the Yanamamo arrow. I've taught this same lesson several times to the Christian Yanamamo's in the Venezuelan jungle. This video carries the lesson home. Speaking at the Kauai Christian Fellowship on October 11, 2009. You can check out a video of this message by clicking here. |

| "Seeds and Weeds" In Mark 4 we read the story of a servant sowing seeds. The story is a great illustration of how God's Word is planted into the receptive human heart. Many of us instead of having a heart of good plowed soil have thick weeds. The Gospel seed sown into a weedy heart struggles to exist and never produces fruit. |
"Priorities of the Early Church" In Acts chapter six, we find several reasons why the early church grew like it did. Filled with dedicated disciples and early leaders who knew their priorities and stuck to them. |
||
| "The Giving Tree" In Psalm one we Christians are seen as planted trees. Planted near an everlasting source of water. A tree created to give fruit in it's season. A tree is an incredible example of giving. |
"Boot Camp" I will never forget my time in Boot Camp. We learned a lot of humorous lessons from our D.I. and I'm only too glad to share them. Lesson one: Bitterness: Getting bitter doesn't make you better. |
||
| "Abide in the Vine" In John chapter fifteen, Jesus establishes our relationship to Him using a simple yet profound analogy. He looks at a vineyard and teaches the following ... |
| "Dealing with Bitterness" Another analogy paralleling the Christian life with the military. God has a boot camp experience for each of His soldiers. We can become better or bitter as a result of His boot camp. |
"Dealing with Conversion" The first Christians were called "Believers." Could that be the secret dynamic of the early church? Indeed there are two kinds of believers. |
||
| "Salt and Light" In Matthew chapter five, we find four impacting verses telling us who we are and what we are for. The distinctly different Christian. (Matt 5 : 13-16) |
|||
| "People, Our Ministry" Seeing people as they really are. The uniqueness of each person. God gives unique gifts. |
"Session 8" ... |
||
| "Gifting" We have been uniquely gifted by the Lord to serve the Church body. Rather than man's secular methods or formulas, our unique gifts are brought about by the Holy Spirit. |
"Session 16" ... |
||
| "Leadership" Secular type leadership and Christ like leadership. One of the flesh and the other of the Spirit. |
"Session 24" ... |
