In the old days, everyone was encouraged to write a diary of their daily events. Girls not only bought into this, but they excelled at it. Boys simply did not. I was no exception. Today it isn't "writing a diary," but instead we "journal." Same thing, different name. Unfortunately some of us have the same hang-up. My form of recording is writing down short thoughts, ideas, along with observations I have as I live life. It is an unusual approach. One thing for sure, you can tell a lot about a person by knowing their thoughts and observations. As I have time, I will log on some of the pages of my thoughts for those who might be interested in picking the brain of an old Youth Worker.
