I guess I inherited some skill in drawing from my father who was a popular west coast artist and writer. As I had time I enjoyed putting my experiences and observations in cartoon form. Viva the cartoon.

KOREA Korea presented me with all kinds of opportunities to see the war from a humorous side. Nothing quite like the world of the cold G.I at the front lines facing North Korea.

CONVAIR For more than fifteen years I worked as an aircraft mechanic at Convair Aircraft company here in San Diego located across from Lindbergh field. Like hundreds of others I worked on many types of Convair aircraft from the first B-36 to the last Convair 990 passenger plane and F-206 delta fighter. There I cartooned my co-workers caught in humorous situations; best understood by a mechanic. (I like to focus on facial expressions.)
